Springtacular 2007

Posted by Brad Abare | Filed under: Personality News

At the end of March the Personality™ team went off-site for a one day "Springtacular." We do something similar in the fall when we go away for a more extended period of time. These twice-a-year moments are very helpful for re-setting perspectives and getting priorities synced up. Above all, these moments provide opportunity for the team to connect, share some laughs and be reminded of how much we like what we do.

This year's Springtacular included topics like:

  • The state of the company.
  • The four objectives we have for 2007.
  • A plan for the next 90 days.
  • Unveiling a new score board for measuring the health of each department and the overall company.
  • Introduction to the Personality™ Principles.
  • Strengths management phase II (phase I was last year).
  • Brainstorming for our new "cause room" (set to open later this year).
  • Other top secret stuff.

We ended the day with dinner at a Spanish tapas restaurant where we saw a 50-year-old bald guy with the coolest mullet you've never seen.
