Brad Abare | Founder/President

Brad Abare is an inoperable idealist with an appetite for discovering and deploying dreams. An entrepreneur at heart, Brad started his first company at age 14. By the time he got his driver's license, he launched a publishing company and, by age 19, he started a design and marketing firm that would evolve into the company known today as Personality™. Before the close of the 20th century, a national magazine recognized Brad as one of the top 21 young men for the 21st century.

But it's not all launching businesses and landing accolades. Since 2002, Brad has served as the assistant vice president and director of communications for the Foursquare denomination, a community of 55,000 churches spread throughout 149 countries. Brad and his wife, Jamaica, serve on several nonprofit boards, including an inner-city urban program in Hollywood and a network of church communication professionals.

Random Fact:

In fifth grade, Brad traveled with a couple dozen students from Kansas (where Brad grew up) to Hollywood. They spent a week painting a youth center that worked with troubled teens. Guess where they stayed during the trip? Across the street from where the Personality™ offices are now located.

Other Title:

Blogger. In addition to blogging for Personality, Brad attempts to keep a personal blog and writes for the colorfully named Church Marketing Sucks, a blog that has been featured in Advertising Age, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, The Boston Herald and more.

Quote:

"However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results." -Winston Churchill

13:

Years Brad and his wife have sponsored their "child," a boy named Wondemagegne Negusse who lives in Ethiopia. And no, Wondemagegne isn't the one offering you thousands of dollars in e-mail scams.
