Josh Johnson | Operations Manager

Josh has lived all across the country, first in Oklahoma City, then Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Missouri, Oklahoma again, back to Massachusetts, Missouri again and now California (whew). As if he hasn't lived in enough places, he also loves to travel to undeveloped nations and spend time among the people. His trips to Peru, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic have helped put life in perspective.

Josh grew up working with trees--which is called an arborist, for those in the know--spending about ten years at it. But he realized it wasn't his life's calling after he put a spike through his ankle, cut his arm with a chainsaw and fell out of a tree from 25 feet up. Thankfully that didn't all happen in the same day. Instead he put trees behind him and majored in business management.

Josh is married to the love of his life, Cheryl, and the two sponsor a child named Frank who lives in Africa. Someday Josh hopes to add Africa to his list of travels. Josh believes life is a journey and anticipates great things to come, never forgetting that we are here at this specific time for a specific purpose.

Random Fact:

Josh's favorite pastime is overcoming anything that frightens him. He conquered his fear of heights by climbing a 300-foot cliff in the Gunks of New York. He bested his fear of the unknown by swimming in the piranha-infested Amazon River in Peru. Good times.

Other Title:

Handyman. From rebuilding an engine to renovating a home, Josh has tried it all.

Quote:

"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome." -Booker T. Washington

What a Good Cause Marketing Campaign Says

The days of giving to a cause just because it is the right thing to do are gone. People are demanding to see a return on investment even in the area of social action. People see value in supporting causes as a kind of personal and social investment. It's about supporting causes that help others and help me. Causes that don't deliver are dumped.
